By virtue of a special warrant granted out of his Lordship's Land Office of this province to Capt. Thomas Basset, Engineer in his majesties service for five hundred acres of land bearing date by renewment the 4th of November, 1767

We therefore certify as Deputy Surveyors under his Excellancy Horatio Sharpe, Esq. Governor of Maryland that we have carefully surveyed and laid out for and in the name of him, the saidCapt. Thomas Basset, all that tract of land lying in the County aforesaid beginning at a bounded White Oak standing on the North side of Braddock's Road between the Little Meadows and the Little Crossing and running thence...
