By virtue of a warrant granted out of his Lordship's Land Office of this province to Col. Thomas Cresap of Frederick County for one thousand acres of land bearing date by renewment the November 26th 1751 and by him two hundred and thirty acres is assigned to Thomas Cresap, Jr.-
I therefore certify as Deputy Surveyor under his said Excell. Samuel Ogle, Esq. Governor of Maryland, that I have carefully laid out for and in the name of him the said T. Cresap, all that tract of land called Round Bottom beginning at two bounded White Oaks standing about two perches from the bank of the Potomack River, on the Northeast side of said River about two miles below the mouth of the Little Cacapon Creek which runs out of Virginia into the aforesaid River running thence...
